Terms of use

The service

Darb is a cafe in Dubai. The app lets you order ahead and collect at the counter, record your walks, runs and rides, post to the feed, and take a place on the boards. Anyone can order a coffee; the rest is for members.

Membership

Membership is free. You must be 18 or over, and one phone number holds one membership. You are responsible for what is done from your account, so keep your phone and its codes to yourself.

Orders and payment

Prices are shown in the app before you place an order. Orders are taken inside the opening hours shown in the app.

An order Darb cancels before you collect it costs you nothing. An order nobody collects by the end of the day is cancelled the same way.

Each item lists what it contains and what it may contain, and an allergy you put on an order is read at the counter before it is made. The app does not replace telling the counter.

Perks

Perks are given by Darb and used at the counter. A perk has no cash value: it cannot be exchanged for money, sold or passed to another account, and it ends when its time runs out or the account is deleted.

The community rules

What you post must follow the community rules. Darb may hold or take down a post that breaks them, and you can appeal the decision in the app.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from Data and privacy in the app. It cannot be undone. The privacy policy says what is kept and for how long.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, as applied in the Emirate of Dubai.
